Share is an ownership of the company, which subdivided to some parts. This small part called as Stock or Share. Traders can trade for a particular stock in Share market. Share can call as Equity. Trader who trades for a particular company share, he will get the ownership of that company. Trader who has got maximum amount of share for a particular company, he will get the Major ownership of that company in Share Market.

What is Index in Share Market?
Indices also Called Index. In India two types of Index. They are Nifty and Sensex. Nifty is for NSE and Sensex for BSE. Group of Shares can called Index; in NSE we mention Index as Nifty and in BSE we call Index as Sensex. In NSE, Nifty holds the group of 50 Shares. In BSE, Sensex holds the group of 30 shares. Index mentions the direction of the entire Stock Market for NSE and Sensex for BSE.
If Index goes high in Share Market, it means that is the entire Share Market is going up, if index goes low, obviously the Share Market going low in National Stock Exchange. Like Index in NSE, we have Sensex in BSE. The Index consist of 2 shares, they are: High Liquidity Shares and High Market Capitalization Shares. In National Stock Exchange, High Market Capitalization shares are nothing but company which is having the higher amount of shares and higher cost for each share.

NSE stands for National Stock Exchange - Nifty is indexed with NSE
BSE stands for Bombay Stock Exchange - Sensex is indexed with BSE
